After having 2 days of complete data, Drone Emprit now release some insight and findings based on it's analysis of conversation in social media and online media (Indonesian). Keywords used: virus (corona, wuhan), #coronavirus, #wuhanvirus, and #CoronavirusOutbreak.
TREN OF MENTIONS ‘CORONA VIRUS’
Drone Emprit just started the data collection as of 25 Jan 2020. The volume of conversation is very high internationally. Initially we got 1M mentions per day (25/01), and increased to 2M per day (26/01). #CoronavirusOutbreak.
TRENDS IN ONLINE NEWS AND YOUTUBE ARE INCREASING
The trend in Indonesia online news was decreased yesterday, from 8k (24/01) to 5,3k (25/01). However, today the trend is increased again to 8.33k (26/01). More videos in YouTube can be expected than from IG. #CoronavirusOutbreak.
CONVERSATIONS BY COUNTRIES OF TWITTER USERS
The country is based on the profile of Twitter users. Not all users set their countries correctly. Based on Drone Emprit’s detection, Indonesia is the country with most conversations, followed by France and US. #CoronavirusOutbreak.

WHY NOT MUCH FROM CHINA?
This conversation map by cities shows “blank spot” in China. Only in Beijing we get few conversation. Why? Because Twitter is blocked in China. People must use VPN to access Twitter, and the location won’t be shown from China. #CoronavirusOutbreak.
